Hekisuien Matcha Tenko (天鼓) 30g

Tenko almost envelops the person fortunate enough to taste it, with sweetness and gentle yet pronounced mildness. It is a great tea which can be prepared both as a usucha and a koicha. Compared to the Shiro no Kotobuki, which immediately follows it on our list, it is a less sweet, yet more full-bodied matcha which offers a divine taste and creamy, lingering finish.
The meaning of Tenko(天鼓):
Tenko has meanings related to Japanese hand drums and thunder: namely, the drums played by Raijin, the Shinto God of Thunder.
